For the first time, the traditional spring gorge “Wine and gourmet” in Plovdiv will be accompanied by a craft fair. This was announced by the municipality. The festival will start at the heart of the Old Town on May 5 at 12 o’clock at the Stables establishment. The Brass Orchestra – Plovdiv will take care of the good mood of the guests.
The festival will be held on May 5th and 6th, and special guests and partners of the gorge will be representatives of the Association of Wine Producers from Northern Greece, whose delegation will be led by Thessaloniki Mayor Yannis Boutaris. They will present grape potions from the southern neighbour and will have the incredible chance of being housed in the Revival houses in the Old Town.
At the wine festival, this year will also be offered foreign wines. Everyone will be able to buy tokens, each of which gives the right to taste a glass of wine. The tickets are offered in packages, with 4 coins worth 2 leva /1 Euro/, 12 coins – 6 leva /3 Euro/, and a glass with the logo of the festival and 8 coins will cost 8 leva /4 Euro/. Culinary temptations to enrich the taste of wine will be offered at prices between 1 and 5 leva /0,5 -2,5 Euro/.
